Influenced by the Baroque era, her admiration for the iconic imagery in Velasquez paintings, and Sofia Coppola’s Marie Antoinette, Mina sought to emulate an emblematic design element from the 17th-18th centuries: the iconic linen ruff collar. The Ruff Lamp transforms the distinctive shape of the ruff collar into a unique lampshade, beautifully capturing the organic waves and intricate details of the original design.
